  1. Hello again I found the video under the VR tab. Can you tell me or elaborate in detail the feeling of the motion in the dreamflyer with the Oculus Rift. I am very excited to learn if the combo gives realistic sensations of actually flying. Can the setup work also with X Plane 11 in 64 bit? Thank you for any and all information you can provide.

    1. Yes, for high performance planes it feels very realistic. For larger planes like large passenger planes that have a lag between control movement and plane movement it will feel less realistic.

  2. I recently purchased my dream flyer on the used market. It came with windows xp, Saitek x52 controls and Saitek pro rudder pedals. The Saitek throttle is the only thing working. What is involved in scrapping all and changing over to VR? What would I need new and what would I have to replace?
    Thank you

    1. Make sure you have all the cables connected properly. I’ve never seen a rudder pedal failure. Usually it is cables and connectors. The indicator that your Saitek system has failed is if the lights on the handle are all on. If that is the case then you have to buy an X-52 and modify the base as in the video (about a 30 minute job) on the website but you need the old base from under the seat.
You will need a new computer to handle VR. The VR companies have minimum required computer systems listed.
